Welcome to American Legion Post 436, your local veterans organization proudly serving Jourdanton and the entirety of Atascosa County, Texas. For years, we have stood as a dedicated chapter of The American Legion, committed to upholding the values of service, patriotism, and community. Our doors are open not only to our esteemed veterans and their families but also to all members of our community who wish to support our mission.

What We Do at Post 436

Our commitment translates into a variety of activities and programs throughout the year, including:

Regular Post Meetings: Providing a space for members to connect, share experiences, and plan initiatives.
Community Events: Organizing and participating in local patriotic observances such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Flag Day, as well as supporting other community gatherings.
Veteran Support Services: Offering guidance and assistance to veterans navigating VA benefits, healthcare, and other needs.
Flag Advocacy: Promoting respect for the U.S. flag through education and proper etiquette.
